Our Fine-Feathered Friends

Hands-on activities from 12-4 PM

The talk will be sign language interpreted

This interactive program for children ages 6-12 will reveal the adaptaions that keep birds strong and healthy in each of their unique environments. Hands-on activities will take place in our sprawling side-yard (weather permitting), giving all a chance to observe birds in their natural habitat!

Schedule for the day:

12-4 PM   Institute is open to the public. Explore the museum collections in

               the exhibition hall.

12-4 PM   Hands-on activities for children ages 6-12.

1 PM       Presentation in the Victorian lecture hall by the Wagner's Children's
