  1. Thursday, September 24, 2009, 6:30 PM - Orientation
    Meet at the Academy of Natural Sciences Botany Department to discuss the course goals, student needs, and meeting places for field trips. Sign in at the 19th Street entrance of the Academy.
  2. Saturday, September 26, 2009. Field Class

  3. Saturday, October 3, 2009. Field Class
    Independence National Historical Park

    Logan Square and the Parkway

This class will identify trees that grow in Center City Philadelphia, assess the suitability of their sites, evaluate their growing conditions, and discuss their care and maintenance.

*This course requires preregistration and is limited to 20 students. To preregister, call 215-763-6529, ext. 23, beginning Monday, September 14, 2009. Students may sign up for one, two, or three trips at $5.00 per trip or four trips at $15.00.
