Movie Tuesdays: A Family Summer Series
A movie experience unlike any other! Come sit in our 19th century lecture hall and soak in the science with popular children's movies featuring science and nature themes.
All movies begin at 1:00 PM. Please arrive by 12:50 PM.
July 3 – Osmosis Jones (PG) 95 minutes - He’s a new strain of hero. He’s one cell of a guy. He’s the animated white blood cell cop Osmosis Jones, and his job is to keep you healthy!
July 10 – The Ant Bully (PG) 89 minutes - After Lucas Nickle floods an ant colony with his water gun, he's magically shrunken down to insect size and sentenced to hard labor in the ruins.
July 17– The Lion King (G) 89 minutes - Simba is a young lion prince who learns that he will one day become king of the Pride Lands. When Simba's father dies, Simba's jealous uncle leads Simba to believe it was his fault, and a shamed Simba goes into exile.
July 24 – Charlotte's Web (G) 96 minutes - This classic story tells of the friendship between a wise gray spider named Charlotte and a pig named Wilbur.
July 31 - Happy Feet (PG) 108 minutes - Deep in Antarctica, Emperor Penguins find their soul mates through song, which is unfortunate for Mumble who is the worst singer in the world. He is born dancing to his own tune ... tap dancing!
Policies for Movie Tuesdays:
- Reservations are appreciated, and required for groups of 10 or more. Please call 215-763-6529 x 17 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make your reservation.
- Access is limited to the lecture hall during Movie Tuesdays.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older to participate.
- Special Notice: The Wagner Institute does not have central air-conditioning and can be quite hot during summer months. There is no water fountain on the premises. Water bottles are allowed on the ground floor of the Institute.
