Pollinator Power!

Friday, September 6, 2013

10:00AM - 12:00PM

Have you ever thought about the importance of flowers and the animals that make them possible? Without bees, life as we know it would not exist. Learn about different pollinators and their impact on our lives. In addition to the interactive lesson, natural history specimens, and scavenger hunts, this special program also includes a visit from the president of the Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild, honey extraction and tasting, an open hive demonstration (weather permitting), and bee-related crafts and activities!

Cost: Museum admission and programs are FREE, but donations are appreciated. A donation of $8 per adult and $5 per child is suggested, but any contribution will make a difference.
