The Wagner Free Institute of Science’s annual Halloween event is back again with a new theme, Animal Bites! Which land mammal has the most teeth? How wide can a snake open its mouth? Just how sharp can a bird beak be? Find out the answer to these curious animal questions and more at the Spooky Creature Feature.

Meet a variety of live animals from the Elmwood Park Zoo and learn how their mouths are perfect for capturing and eating the kinds of food that they enjoy, however frightening they may seem at first glance.

In addition to viewing the animal presentation, children and adults are invited to explore the Wagner museum gallery. Wagner educators will lead a scavenger hunt and Halloween crafts throughout the afternoon.

Visitors are encouraged to come in costume!

Admission is FREE. Donations of $10 for adults and $5 for children are suggested, but any amount helps to support the Institute's mission.

Activities are geared towards children aged 6-12 and their families, but visitors of all ages are sure to enjoy the day!
